About Us

The Azerbaijan Stuntmen Guild was founded in 2026 by Sain Ferhad and Sarkhan Taghiyev, with official support from the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Our goal is simple: to raise stunt performance in Azerbaijan to a new level. We bring together professional stunt performers and make sure our work meets international standards. We aim to support local talent, help them grow through training and projects, and create a trusted, professional space where people can collaborate on films, TV shows, commercials, and live events.

The Guild also works closely with other institutions in the field, always guided by safety, creativity, and quality.


Objectives, Areas of Activity and Responsibilities

The Guild’s main objective is to develop the action genre in cinema and strengthen the stunt profession in Azerbaijan. We are committed to educating and professionalizing the next generation of stunt performers while providing comprehensive support for their work.

To reach these goals, the Guild:

1. Helps stunt performers integrate into the global stunt industry and creates an environment that meets international standards.

2. Builds international relationships and exchanges in the field of stunt performance.

3. Monitors and evaluates the professional knowledge and skills of stunt performers, offering training programs when needed.

4. Ensures professional stunt performers are involved in audiovisual projects produced in Azerbaijan.

5. Supports the participation of Azerbaijani action-genre projects in international festivals.

6. Protects the practice of stunt performance and ensures freedom of information in the field.

7. Contributes to the development of cinema as a tool for cultural education and self-expression.

8. Publishes and distributes educational and awareness-raising materials.

9. Organizes training courses, workshops and seminars.


Activities of the Guild

To fulfill its mission, the Guild:

1. Proposes initiatives to improve laws and regulations related to cinematography, culture, and the arts.

2. Organizes conferences, training sessions, and workshops for stunt performers, filmmakers, and other professionals.

3. Conducts research and hosts masterclasses, seminars, round tables, exhibitions, charity events, forums and other activities.

4. Supports Azerbaijani action-genre audiovisual works in international festivals, conferences, and other global platforms.

5. Works closely with the media and maintains an active presence on social media to showcase action-genre works nationwide.

6. Prepares and distributes publications, magazines, books, brochures, albums, posters and electronic materials to promote stunt work and professional achievements.

7. Organizes competitions among members and recognizes outstanding performers.

8. Cooperates with government authorities and local municipalities.
